Adorn & Dissolve is a collection of works produced by artist Madison Tyrell. The artwork explores current social obsessions with sexuality, desire, and identity. The artwork means to stem ideas on how we perceive one another.
In this series, the artist places herself as part of the narrative by representation in the natural elements. As a twenty four year old, Madison is witness to the hyper display of sexual culture among the youth. In reaction to her experiences, the natural elements in these works act as a tableau of discovery and curiosity.
There is an investigation between the reflective sensuality that exists in both nature and the body. As humans, we use space to display ego. In nature, there is the contrast vast stillness that nature exists in. This idea calls for the exploration of deconstruction and juxtaposition between the environment and man
